British proofed Colt Model 1851 London Navy percussion revolver
Excellent British-proofed, Colt No1 Deringer s/n 1660, manufactured circa 1870-1890. Rare pistol (only about 6,500 manufactured) in obsolete .41 rimfire calibre. Barrel retains most of its original deep blue finish and strong case colours to the hammer. Sharp barrel address, serial numbers and engraving to the frame. Good action with a minty 9/10 bore. One of the best that I have seen for a long time.
Five shot revolver, fluted cylinder and 3½ inch round barrel. Blued barrel and frame. Case coloured hammer and cartridge ejector. Complimented with two-piece varnished walnutgrips. Company address on top of barrel. This revolver is in excellent plus condition and it would be very difficult to improve.
