A very good, Fourth Model Winchester Model 1866 (Yellow Boy) repeating Saddle Ring Carbine, serial number 154971, with twenty inch, round barrel, full length tubular magazine tube, two barrel bands, manufactured circa 1881, in obsolete 44 rimfire calibre.

The serial number 154971 in script numbering is stamped at the rear of the bottom tang, behind the lever. The loading gate is located on the right side of the receiver, with the saddle ring mounted on the left side of the brass frame. Two line King’s Improvement address with 1860 and 1866 patent dates. Good rifling, with 7½ / 10 bore.

Overall in good working order with a good action.
