Scarce, unmarked common top one-sided eagle with shield flask by Hawkesley. The flask is of a double curvature profile line to create a main and upper swell. The main swell is decorated by a panel enclosing a broadened open wing eagle with a shield on its breast. The upper swell receives a panel with crowned riband on which is marked “E Pluribus Unum” surmounting a cluster of nineteen stars. The décor only appears on one face of the flask. The flask is in fine condition retaining most of its patina finish. See Riling 784 Pages 338 and 340.
