Rare Smith & Wesson First Model Double Action revolver s/n 49507, with 6 1/2 inch barrel, cut for shoulder-stock and chambered in .44 S&W Russian calibre. Six shot revolver with a 1 7/16 inch fluted cylinder, blue finish and case coloured hammer and trigger. Adjustable rear target sight. Complimented with chequered hard rubber two-piece grips, with S&W monogram. Smith & Wesson address on the top rib of the barrel with patent dates of 1865, 1869, 1871, 1879 and 1880.
Factory fitted detachable walnut shoulder stock, with nickel yoke and chequered hard rubber butt-plate with S&W monogram within a shield.
Very fine condition with 85% original blue and case colours. Good working condition with 9/10 bright bore.
