Sold:  Special order and in great condition, cased Savage Model 1899 Lever Action Take-down sporting rifle s/n 154688 in Savage .22 Hi power (5.6 x 52R) calibre, with 20 inch round barrel, manufactured after 1899. Section One rifle.

The 20 inch barrel address in two lines reads “MANUFACTURED BY SAVAGE ARMS COMPANY UTICA. N.Y. U.S.A. / PAT-FEB 7 1893. JULY 25. 1893. MAY 25. 1909. JUNE 1. 909.”. With ivory beaded front sight with detachable figure of 8 safety cover. It has an adjustable rear short tang sight. Blued finish with case-coloured lever and straight grained walnut stock and forend with shotgun butt.

Contain in its original green coloured carry case with brown leather corners for extra support. With leather securing straps either side of the brass locking system.

Retaining most of its original blue and case colours. Good bore 8/10, no pitting (needs a rod through it). Good action and good working order. Great value for money. Section One rifle.
