Medium size Eley Bros, 250 count percussion cap tin for Colt 1849 Pocket & Colt 1851 Navy percussion revolvers. Medium size japanned tin cap tin with circular blue label which reads around the circumference: “ELEY BROs Ld Manufacturers, London” and in the centre “250 / METAL LINED / CAPS / Made expressly for / COLT’S PT / Belt and Pocket / PISTOLS”. Made for Colt Model 1849 Pocket percussion revolvers & Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolvers. 1 ½ x 1 1/8 inches. Very good condition.
Excellent British-proofed, Colt No1 Deringer s/n 1660, manufactured circa 1870-1890. Rare pistol (only about 6,500 manufactured) in obsolete .41 rimfire calibre. Barrel retains most of its original deep blue finish and strong case colours to the hammer. Sharp barrel address, serial numbers and engraving to the frame. Good action with a minty 9/10 bore. One of the best that I have seen for a long time.
