Medium size 250 count japanned tin cap tin with circular blue label which reads around the circumference: “ELEY BROs Ld Manufacturers, London” and in the centre “250 / METAL LINED / CAPS / Made expressly for / COLT’S PT / Belt and Pocket / PISTOLS”. Made for Colt Model 1849 Pocket percussion revolvers & Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolvers. 1 ½ x 1 1/8 inches. Very good condition.
