Good condition, large 250 count vintage circular galvanised-metal tin for percussion gun caps, bearing a distinctive red printed label that reads: “F. Joyce & Co., London, England – Quality Warranted – Foil Covered”. This cap tin was probably manufactured in the first half of the 20^th century.

The tin is of substantial size, with a simple cylindrical form and metal construction typical of period ammunition and sporting-gun accessory containers. The red label provides an attractive period graphic and clear manufacturer’s identification. 2 1/8 inches diameter by 1 ½ inches height.
