Factory engraved, nickel-plated, Colt New Line .32 rimfire calibre revolver s/n 9045, manufactured circa 1875 and complimented with factory two-piece mother of pearl birds-head grips. Scroll engraving in the late vine style of engraving. Non engraved hammer, fire-blued to rear. The screws and trigger are also fire-blued.

Barrel two-line address: ‘COLT’S PT.F.A. MFG. Co / HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A.’ Five-shot cylinder with short flutes and 2 1/4 inch round barrel. Total quantity produced, about 22,000, between 1873 and 1884. The serial number is located under the barrel towards the muzzle, on the rear of the cylinder (last three digits 045) and also under the grips on the left side of the grip-strap. “32CAL” is stamped on the left side of the frame, under the cylinder.

Overall in fine condition and in good working order. There is a surface crack in the pearl grips on both sides. The bore is 8/10.
