Empty Princess Mary Gift Fund embossed brass box. The boxes were given as a Christmas present in 1914 to serving soldiers in World War One. They were paid for, by a public fund supported by Princess Mary. It would have contained a packet of tobacco, a packet of cigarettes a portrait photograph of Princess Mary and a Christmas card from                      King George V, Queen Mary and Princess Mary.
