Empty, Princess Mary Gift Fund, embossed brass box. The boxes were given as a Christmas present in 1914, to serving soldiers in World War One. They were paid for, by a public fund supported by Princess Mary. It would have contained, a packet of tobacco, a packet of cigarette, a portrait photograph of Princess Mary and a Christmas card from King
George V, Queen Mary and Princess Mary.
