Fine and rare, British proofed, Pall Mall Agency, six-shot Colt Model 1849 Pocket percussion revolver s/n 297190L, with four-inch barrel, manufactured circa 1867. The barrel address reads: “ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK US, AMERICA”. This London Agency Pocket is in excellent original condition retaining approximately 95% original blue to the barrel, cylinder, iron grip-straps and large iron trigger-guard. The frame, loading lever and hammer retain 95% strong case colours. The one-piece walnut grips with storage marks retain 90% plus of their original varnish. The cylinder scene is 100% and all six cylinder pins remain intact. There are several storage marks. The screw heads are excellent and the action is in good working order.

Overall, a minty 14 Pall Mall Agency imported 1849 Pocket, manufactured at Colt’s manufactory in Hartford, with rare four-inch barrel. It deserves to be cased.
