Excellent cased Birmingham proofed, Sharps Patent, Tipping & Lawden, four shot deringer, s/n 182, in obsolete .30 rimfire calibre.
Blued fluted three inch barrels, sliding forward for loading and with blued sprung release beneath, silvered brass action and butt, the former stamped ‘Tipping & Lawden. Sharps’ Patent’ in a circle on one side, blued rotating hammer-nose, spur trigger, chequered gutta-percha grips, numbered 182 to the gun. The deringer retains most of its original finish. Contained in its original case fitted and lined in blue baize with accessories including, a small unmarked pewter oil bottle, wooden handled screw-driver and key. The exterior of the lid veneered in walnut and with shield-shaped vacant brass escutcheon.
Good working order with four bright 9/10 bores.
