Cased British proofed, six shot, Adams Model 1867 Double Action revolver, serial number 506, with six inch octagonal barrel and in .450 Boxer calibre. The barrel address on the top flat of the barrel reads: ADAMS’S PATENT SMALL ARMS Co. 391, STRAND, LONDON.” from breech to muzzle. “ADAMS’S PATENT No 506” is stamped on the right side of the frame, below the cylinder. The Adams’s trademark is present on the rear end of the right side of the frame, close to the one-piece chequered walnut grips. The serial number, 506 is visible on the cylinder, frame and trigger. There is a provision for a lanyard on the butt. Action is good and in good working order.
In its original case lined in green beige, with vacant circular brass escutcheon on the lid. It’s original Adams’s trade label is inside the lid. There are no accessories. The case is in overall excellent condition.
