“California” Pattern, fully beaded, contoured, right-handed holster, with stitched belt loop and open toe. It will fit a Colt Model 1873 Single Action revolver, with a 7 1/2 inch barrel, or a Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver. It is decorated in native American style, using small coloured beads, to form crosses and stars. The background is predominantly made of white beads. There is a two inch leather tail at the rear of the toe, decorated with eight green and one blue bead, of a larger size. The bead decoration is attached to a reddish-brown leather holster, skirted with leather thong stitching, in a diagonal pattern. Overall in very fine condition, showing age. There is no makers name.
